Memories 84, 85, 86

#84 (2/8/13)
She took care of Sam when he was an infant. Asher went to daycare in the morning and she'd pick him up with Sam, and she'd have them both until Keith came home (Asher still took naps in the afternoon).
Sam was difficult to handle since he had allergies; he was fussy and hard to soothe. He gave her a hard time, but I think she still enjoyed taking care of them both.
She'd send me emails sometimes, telling me what they did, how the day went.

#85 (2/9/13)
She'd take the kids on walks when we lived in Deltona and she was taking care of them. They'd go to a dirt road not too far from our house and see some farm animals, including horses and goats. Asher really enjoyed it, and Sam probably did too, though he did not walk yet.

She smoked almost all her life. I had begged her to quit so many times. She had told me she had quit once cold turkey, when she was pregnant with me (she was 21-22). She had tried many times, but never succeeded until Asher was born, in 2007. When she passed, she had been smoke free for almost 4 years, but I think major damage was left behind.

Elle s'occupait de Sam quand il etait un nourrisson. Asher allait a la creche le matin, et elle allait le chercher avec Sam; elle les avait alors tous les 2 jusqu'a ce que Keith rentre (Asher faisait encore la sieste l'apres midi).
Sam etait difficile parce qu'il avait des allergies alimentaires et il etait souvent ronchon et dur a calmer. Il lui donner du fil a retordre, mais je crois qu'elle aimait quand meme bien s'occuper de tous les 2. Elle m'envoyait des emails pour me dire comment la journee se passait.

Elle emmenait les enfants faire des promenades quand on habitait a Deltona. Ils allaient sur une route de gravier pas tres loin de chez nous ou il y avait des fermettes avec des animaux, dont des chevaux et des chevres. Asher aimait beaucoup et Sam surement aussi meme s'il ne marchait pas encore.

Elle a fume presque toute sa vie. Je lui demandait souvent de s'arreter et elle aurait bien voulu aussi. Elle m'avait dit souvent qu'elle s'etait arretee completement quand elle etait enceinte de moi (elle avait 21-22 ans. Elle n'avait jamais reussi a s'arreter jusqu'avant la naissance d'Asher en 2007. Quand elle est decedee, ca faisait presque 4 ans qu'elle n'avait pas touche une cigarette et pourtant le mal etait fait.
