In Manosque, France, we'd go for walks to a chapel at the top of a hill, it was a nice, long walk. We could come back down a different way we came up. On the way, there were walnut trees, cherry trees and blackberry bushes. We'd have our snacks on the way from mother nature. This used to be our Sunday walk on sunny days.

She hated cold water. She windsurfed a bit, but hated the thought of falling in. And forget just going swimming. She enjoyed the warm ocean in Florida. As long as it was almost as warm as bath water.

Our first time in the US, in San Francisco, we ordered French Toast thinking this had to be bread with butter and jam, like what we call 'tartines'; we were hoping for some familiarity. What a disappointement that was! Of course, it wasn't bad, but when not what we expected!

On avait bien ete decues!
