Memory 9

#9, 11/23/12
I am cleaning in her room today. I haven't been here to mess around with things in a while. I have been on her computer, but I still need to sort through some things. I found some towels and sheets that can be given away...
I'm reorganizing some boxes so I can close closet doors maybe. I found the box of shoes I decided to keep.
I don't know why I keep such a big box of shoes -I got rid of a lot of them back when I went through them. But those shoes have history, and I just can't bring myself (yet?) to part with them.
Maybe I have told this memory before, but not in the "A Year of Memmories" project -if you want to call it that.

This pair of Teva's she got in Santa Monica in 1996. After buying them we went on the beach and she almost lost them to the Pacific ocean! She ran after them in the water after a big wave took them away. She used them a lot, they were comfortable, summer walking shoes.



Je fais du nettoyage dans sa chambre aujourd'hui. Ca fait un moment que j'avais pas remue tout ca. Il y a encore pas mal de choses a trier. J'ai trouve des serviettes et des draps que je pourrais donner.
Je re-organise les cartons pour pouvoir fermer les portes de placards... J'ai retrouve un carton de chaussures que j'avais decide de garder.
Je ne sais pas pourquoi je garde une si grande boite de chaussures -j'en avais deja donne/jete beaucoup. Mais celles ci ont une histoire et je ne peux pas (encore?) me faire a l'idee de m'en separer.
Peut-etre ai-je deja raconte ce souvenir, mais pas dans mon "Une Annee de Souvenirs".

Cette paire de sandales Teva, elle avait achete a Santa Monica en 1996. Juste apres les avoir achetees, elle le avait presque perdues dans le Pacifique! Elle avait couru apres dans l'eau apres qu'une grosse vague les avait emportees. Elle les avait beaucoup portees. elles etaient comfortables pour marcher.
