When I was 11, I begged her for a Game Boy. It was expensive (I think 600FF at the time, about $120) but she bought it and I was so thrilled. She liked to play it too. She liked to play Tetris and later Mario Bros -she was totally hooked and very into it when she played, getting frustrated and excited.
Before the Game Boy, she had had a Donkey Kong handheld game -hers not mine, even though I played it too.

Quand j'avais 11 ans, je lui avais demande une Game Boy. C'etait cher, environ 600 francs a l'epoque, mais elle me l'avait achetee, et j'etais super excitee. Elle aimait bien jouer avec aussi. Elle aimait Tetris et plus tard Mario Bros -elle etait completement accro et completement dans le jeu; elle se frustrait quand elle perdait.
Avant la Game Boy, elle avait un jeu Donkey Kong -le sien, pas le mien, meme si j'y jouais des fois.
